This article describes the eQuest Job Posting Process and the various automated Job Board Integration Options.
Job Posting Process
Jobs are generally pushed to eQuest via the client's ATS (or a career site scrape). Those jobs can then be made available via a hosted job feed, or pushed to a board if the user/recruiter has selected that board option during their eQuest session. eQuest serves as a delivery mechanism to job boards worldwide.
In order for job postings to be made available to a board in any of the formats described below, the following must take place:
Client requests access to job board -or- job board requests integration with eQuest (make requests here)
Mutual agreement to create board connection using one of the options below (there may be a fee associated with the integration)
Once the connection is done, client configures new board option within their eQuest account and allows option to users (represented by button option)
Users push jobs to eQuest via their ATS or job scrape, and optionally select the board option on a per requisition basis
Jobseekers apply on board by way of the Candidate Response URL (job ad on career site)
IMPORTANT: eQuest does not establish or manage the job board account (unless client uses eQuest Media services), and is not responsible for job board transaction fees.

1. eQuest File Format, Hosted at eQuest (Feed)
The eQuest Feed option is an easy way to configure a new job board within the eQuest system.
Active job postings are made available via the Feed URL the moment they're posted.
There is a minimal amount of setup involved on the client side before job postings can be made available in the XML feed.
Please see Full Feed Overview, Feed Fields and Values and the Feed XML Sample.
+ quickest turnaround
- field/value mapping is done on board side, lack of field/value flexibility
2. eQuest File Format, Delivered to Board
eQuest can send a standard XML output file and can deliver the file one or more time daily via FTP or HTTP POST.
The XML format is the same as the Feed XML mentioned above.
+ quick turnaround, inexpensive
- field/value mapping is done on board side, lack of field/value flexibility, board hosts end point, there may be a fee associated with this type of setup
3. Board-Defined File Format, Delivered to Board
eQuest can write the job feed based on the job board specification and can deliver the files via HTTP POST or FTP.

4. Board-Defined File Format, Hosted at eQuest
